Config
The course configuration is where you can associate the assignment with a course. Once the assignment is linked to a course, you will have the option to configure how the assignment's score will be calculated. This will be configured by using a grading formula, along with the assignment's due date.
Open assignment Course Config¶
1) To view your assignment's course config, open the Assignments page by clicking the Assignment 
button in the activity bar, on the left side of the screen.
2) On the Assignments page, click the blue Open button that corresponds to the assignment that you'd like to open.
3) Now that the Assignments page is open, in the bar at the top of the screen, click the tab labeled Course config.
Link an assignment to a course¶
In order for your students to be able to view the assignment, you must link the assignment to a course. You can link an assignment to as many courses as you'd like. To link an assignment to a course:
1) Open the assignment's course configurations page.
2) Now that the assignment's course configuration page is open. Double check that the course you'd like to link is selected, by reviewing the course name in the upper right corner of the course configuration view.
3) Click the button labeled Add to Course at the bottom of the view.
Grading Formula¶
A Grading Formula is a formula you may use to grade your student's assignments. Learn more about assignment grading.
Due Date¶
To change the assignment's due date:
1) Open the assignment's course configuration.
2) In the middle of the page, click the text field labeled Due Date.
3) After clicking the field, a menu will appear under the text field. Within the menu, you will be able to modify the date that the assignment is due for your particular course.
Student Preview¶
The student preview mode allows you to view the assignment from your student's prespective.
To enable the student preview mode:
1) Open the assignment's course configuration.
2) Click the blue button labeled Student Preview at the bottom of the page.
